EVENT LEAD

SETUP / TEARDOWN / PARTICIPATE (STP)

Perform Setup and Teardown for the event as required.
STP teams are expected to attend the class if needed so we have higher attendee numbers, with priority going to our visitors (with a few exceptions). Sign up for events you'd like to attend.

BARKER

Barkers get people involved by bringing folks in off the street this is called barking which is audible advertising and soliciting to participate in our events. We have a few megaphones, you will need an umbrella (as this is out in the street and hot). Get creative; dress to astound, confuse or impress; position yourself at intersections; playfully invite and ‘harass’ passersby to join.
LONG Distance - Long barkers are positioned at nearby intersections, guiding people towards the camp
SHORT Distance - Short distance barkers are positioned in the street in front of camp

GREETERS / POUNCERS

Greeters should be bringing people into the events. The greeter will make contact with a potential participant, convince them/interview them for best modality or game, bring them to the event activity, then go back to streetside and fetch more participants
Pouncer is kind of like a bouncer, but more for the crowd control part. Keep entryway clear for traffic, keep event tents from being over filled with visitors.

FLUFFER

The Shift/work descriptions will be aligned with work shift duties, so be sure to completely read the shift work description.
