About us

We believe that public health starts with awareness and action. Mosquito-borne diseases continue to rise in many barangays, including ours, and most cases begin with issues that could have been prevented—stagnant water, clogged canals, and unmaintained areas. Through this system, we aim to change that.

About us

Welcome to the San Vicente Mosquito Control Reporting System, an initiative dedicated to keeping our community safe, healthy, and informed.
This platform was created by students of the University of Santo Tomas – Medical Technology Department in partnership with the Barangay San Vicente, Angono, Rizal, to provide a simple and accessible way for residents to report mosquito-related hazards in their surroundings.

We believe that public health starts at the community level. By enabling fast and accurate reporting of stagnant water, clogged canals, uncovered containers, and other mosquito-breeding sites, we help our Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) respond more effectively and prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue, chikungunya, and malaria.

Our system is built on three core values:

🟡 Community Awareness

Empowering residents with knowledge to recognize and report potential mosquito-breeding areas.

🟠 Quick Response

Ensuring that BHWs receive timely, organized, and accurate data for immediate action.

🔴 Collective Protection

Building a safer environment through shared responsibility between the community and local health workers.

This platform is more than just a reporting tool—it is a community movement toward a cleaner and healthier San Vicente. Together, we can reduce mosquito risks, protect our families, and create a safer place for everyone.

If you have questions or suggestions, we are always here to listen.
Let’s fight mosquito-borne diseases, one report at a time.
