2026Troop 996 Mulch Sale
With the help of the 2025 mulch sale proceeds, Troop 996 scouts were able to attend summer camp at the BSA Summit Scout Reservation in West Virginia and the Sea Base High Adventure program. Your participation in our fundraiser helps to offset the costs of summer camps and high adventure programs for our scouts and their families. It also allows the troop to purchase equipment to replace worn or broken items. The Troop 996 Scouts are a fantastic group of young men who contribute greatly to our community. Their volunteer service includes making sandwiches for the Be the Good Project, constructing bird feeder kits for the Wildlife Rescue League, laying flowers at Arlington Cemetery for the Memorial Day Flowers Foundation, serving as a Color Guard at Mount Vernon, assembling and lighting luminaries at the Antietam National Battlefield Memorial Illumination, trail restoration, invasive and non-native plant removal, tree planting, and much more. Thank you for supporting our scouts and helping us positively impact our community.
